The Hermitage School District utilizes the Arkansas Department of Education (ADE), Division of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE), PreK-12 G.U.I.D.E. for Life Program Principles to help students instill "real-world" skills for success to enhance citizenship, a community mindset, work ethic, and much more.

We are excited about the opportunity for our students to thrive at home, school, and in the future by implementing the following principles:

Growth (management of self);

Understanding (knowing one's self);

Interaction (building relationships);

Decisions (taking responsibility and making responsible choices); and

Empathy (being aware of others).
