Public Statement to Parents and Guardians
The Hermitage School District is aware of a reported concern at the Warren School District campus earlier today involving an allegation that a student may have had a weapon on campus.
We want to assure our parents and guardians that all Hermitage students who attend SEACBEC career classes at Warren have been safely transported off the Warren campus and are accounted for by Hermitage School District personnel. At no time were Hermitage students in danger.
The report originated from a phone call to Warren High School, indicating a possible weapon in a restroom. Warren School District administration and law enforcement immediately followed safety protocols. All classrooms and restrooms were thoroughly checked, and no weapon was found.
The safety and security of our students and staff remain our highest priority. We appreciate the swift response of the Warren School District, local authorities, and the Hermitage School District Staff in addressing the situation promptly and thoroughly.
We will continue to monitor the situation and will provide updates if necessary. Thank you for your continued trust and support.
