We look forward to celebrating this milestone together as a community united in pride, gratitude, and freedom before the Black and White Hermitage Football game. Join us at 7:00 p.m. for our Black and White Game. We are ready to cheer on the Hermits!

Dear Parents and Guardians,
Late yesterday afternoon, our district experienced a severe storm that brought hail, straight-line winds, and heavy thunderstorms. We are very thankful that everyone is safe and that we are able to have a regular school day today.
The storm caused some damage, including to the elementary school awning, trees, and fencing. In a few places, water entered through entrances and windows due to the strong winds. One tree did fall on campus, but thankfully it is in an area that does not block roadways or parking spaces and will be removed soon. While the storm was powerful, we are grateful it passed through after students and most staff were already home.
Our maintenance team, coaches, and staff worked quickly last night to help clear branches and ensure the campus was safe. Today, we will continue cleanup and assessments. Technicians will also be on-site to repair some fallen cables in the elementary school courtyard. Our district electrician and Entergy addressed live wires last night, and the area remains blocked off for safety. Students will be kept away from this section until repairs are complete.
Please rest assured that the safety of our students and staff is our top priority, and our schools are safe for classes, activities, and a normal school day.
Thank you for your continued support and trust.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Spain
