The Hermitage School District schools will be closed on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, due to the combination of freezing rain, winter mix, and below-freezing temperatures expected Tuesday night and Wednesday morning. School is expected to resume on Thursday, February 20. 2025. Please watch for updates on the Hermitage Website, including Text & Facebook notifications, KATV, Monticello Live, Saline River Chronicle, Eagle Democrat, etc.)

The Hermitage School District PreK and Kindergarten registration is now available for parents. Parents are invited to drop by on February 11, 2025, at the PreK Center or Hermitage Elementary School between 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. or 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. to fill out registration forms for children age 3 for Prek and age 5 for Kindergarten by August 1, 2025. Hermitage FFA students competed in the Southern District Leadership Development Events on Wednesday, January 22nd.
Jaycie Smith placed 2nd in Creed speaking and will advance to State. Kannan Belin placed in the top five of Job interview but will not advance. All students participating represented Hermitage FFA very well!

Elementary Reminder: 100th Day of School is Friday, January 24th. Students can wear a 100 days of school shirt or dress up like they are 100 years old.
