If parents of students in grades K, 2, 4, 6, 8, or 10 would like a copy of their child’s Body Mass Index (BMI) report, please call (870) 463-8500 and ask for the School Nurse. A copy will be either mailed or sent home with your student. Deadline for requests is Friday, May 28, 2021.

May is busy at Hermitage High School
HSD has enjoyed the opportunity to recognize our staff this week! An extra BIG shout out goes to the Hermitage Baptist Church for hosting our meal on Tuesday, MANY area church members who prepared food for us, SATCO for donuts, Lowery, Ferrell, and Boykin for lunch on Thursday, HHS Pals for goodies, and the extras from many others. We are so blessed and very appreciative! THANK YOU!!
HSD has made application to offer a Virtual Learning option for the 2021-2022 school year for qualifying students in grades 9-12. Information is on our website under the American Rescue Plan Act/HSD Ready for Learning Plan and was sent to each student via school email. Applications are due by noon on Friday, May 14, 2021.

In the past, the 21st Century Grant has afforded Hermitage Elementary students and community a very successful afterschool program. Therefore, in collaboration with its partners, Hermitage Elementary School is applying for another $150,000 Arkansas Nita M. Lowery 21st Century Community Learning Centers Grant designed to benefit all students and families in grades 1st through 6th. This grant will allow the students to receive homework help, academic enrichment classes, and non-academic enrichment classes as well as provide classes for the families of the students. If you would be interested in assisting in the development of this grant or becoming a Hermitage 21st CCLC partner, please contact Rosalynda Ellis at (870) 463-8500 or rosalynda.ellis@hermitageschools.org.
