Tomorrow is the first day of school!
At HES, the doors open at 7:30 AM, but students are not tardy until 8:00 AM. School will dismiss at 3:10 PM.

Hermitage High School will host Open House on Thursday, August 12, 2021, from 5-7 PM. Student schedules will be available in front of the High School. We are asking that students with last names beginning with A-M come from 5-6 PM and students with last names beginning with N-Z come from 6-7 PM. Masks are recommended during this time.

Welcome Bonnie Halbert! Mrs. Bonnie has 8 years teaching experience. She is a National Board Certified Teacher, has a masters degree, and is an ACT Certified Educator. Mrs. Bonnie will be teaching sections of 7th, 8th, and 9th grade literacy. She is married and has several dogs! Mrs. Bonnie enjoys reading, traveling, running, gardening, cooking, and watching the Razorbacks! When asked why Mrs. Bonnie chose to be a Hermit, she said, “Hermitage reminds me a lot of my hometown, O’Donnell, TX, and I am excited to enjoy the produce stand, GTO, and have the opportunity to practice my Spanish!”

Meet Mrs. Nevada! Mrs. Nevada has been working in the Hermitage School District as the technology coordinator for two years. Now, Mrs. Nevada will be teaching computer science courses at the high school in addition to being the technology coordinator. Mrs. Nevada is married and has three children. For fun, she enjoys hiking and anything outdoors. Mrs. Nevada says, “I’m excited to go through the fun and exciting journey of teaching!” #HermitsLead
Meet Tim Whitney! Mr. Tim will be teaching K-12 music, band, and choir at Hermitage. Mr. Tim graduated from UAM with a degree in health and PE. He is married to Emily, and they have two daughters, Nevaeh and Chasidy. For fun, Mr. Tim likes to just live life and use his boat! Mr. Tim chose to be a Hermit, because he loves the community! #HermitsLead
