It's Fundraising time Hermitage Elementary!
Elementary Literacy Check-In scheduled for November 16th has a few changes. The time will be from 4:30-5:00 and located outside of the Elementary Gym. Parents can review the facilities plan and literacy plan for our school and give feedback. We will also have some books available for the kids to take home. Sorry for the late notice; however, we have had some scheduling conflicts.

Parents, Students, and Staff of students who ride the Johnsville Bus:
The Johnsville bus will run late this morning. Please be aware that a substitute driver will be driving the bus. If you have any difficulties with pick up this morning, please call your child's campus office. The cafeteria and education staff are notified of this delay to provide support for your child once they arrive at school. We appreciate your patience as we work to ensure safe travels for all students on this route

Hermitage Elementary Fall Parties will be today at 2:00. HES students are to remain in their homeroom class for the party. Students can not attend other parties throughout the building. If an HES student gets checked out, they are to leave campus or stay with their guardian at all times. Party food is provided for homeroom students.

All Hermitage Band Members, Cheerleaders, Football Players and their coaches will be fed today after the Homecoming Coronation in the Elementary Cafeteria. This meal is being provided by the Landmark Baptist Church.
It's Homecoming Friday. Please be reminded that Elementary students must stay at school until 1:00 pm to be counted as being here for the day. The students may be checked out from 1:00 to 1:40. At that time, students will remain with their teachers and attend the Homecoming activities with their classmates. Go Hermits!

Please be reminded of the Hermitage School District Elementary and High School Annual Title I Meetings tonight at 5:30 p.m. in the High School Cafeteria to learn about requirements and updates, Curriculum, and provide input on the Title I programs.
Topics during the Annual Meeting include; Title I Schoolwide Programs, Needs Assessments, Annual Evaluations, Title I Parent & Family Engagement Requirements, information about Arkansas State Standards, Assessments, Data Analysis and program next steps.

Coach Tim and a member of the Hermitage Volunteer Fire Department came to the Hermitage Elementary School to teach about fire prevention. The students learned what number to dial in case of a fire emergency and to "STOP, DROP, and ROLL!". Thank you to the fire department for making this possible for our HES kids.
