Hermitage School District

Hermitage Students, Parents, and Staff, The Hermitage School District will be delayed for 1 hour this morning due to water pressure issues in the City of Hermitage. The City expects to have the water at the school fully operational by 9:00 a.m. Buses will pick up children exactly 1 hour later. If your road has standing water, please assist bus drivers so that students may be picked up near the area. Buses will not cross large areas of standing water on routes. Morning school is canceled this morning. If anything changes, you will be notified as soon as possible. Thank you, Ms. Spain

Please make sure your student charges and brings their Chromebook to school tomorrow. They will also need to bring their chargers to school. Grades 7th-10th will begin testing.

The Hermitage School District (HSD) in Hermitage, AR is now accepting School Choice applications! If you are a family that does not live within our residential district area and you want to become a Hermitage School District Family, join us by completing a School Choice Application. 2024-2025 Applications for Grade K-12 students may be found on the Hermitage School District website at https://www.hermitageschools.org/. Paper applications are also available at the Hermitage Central Office at 310 North School Drive Hermitage, AR 71647. No time to stop by, no problem, call 870-463-2246 and we will arrange for you to receive an application. All completed applications must be received on or before May 1, 2024, to be eligible for attendance during the Fall 2024 semester. We can not wait for you to become a part of our Hermitage Family! The Hermitage School District will have school Wednesday, January 24, 2024! We are excited to see all staff and students return to school tomorrow safely at regular times. Thank you, HSD

The Hermitage School District continues to experience hazardous road conditions on side roads, multiple bus routes and school side roads. School will be closed Tuesday, January 23, 2024. Administration, Central Office and Maintenance Staff will be on site preparing for students to return hopefully on Wednesday, January 24, 2024. HSD

Hermitage Elementary will celebrate the 100th day of school on January 26th. Students may wear their favorite 100 day shirt. Parents are invited to watch the students release balloons at 2:00 by the elementary gym.
